Mary Alice Butler, 85, passed away on September 10, 2009. Mary was born in Selbysport, MD on September 22, 1923. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and friend. Preceded in death by her husband Ralph; daughter Patsy; son Clifford; and granddaughter Debbie. She is survived by daughters Linda and Alice; sons Richard and Charles; granddaughters Angelee and Pamela; grandsons Jason, DJ, Steve, and Gene; great-granddaughters Misty and Rachel; great-grandson Ian; great-great-grandson Dylan Michael. Calling hours will be Sunday, 5-7 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where a funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at Akron City Hospital.
