Mary Jane Brown

Mary Jane Brown, 87, passed away on November 13, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 31, 1931in Dexter City, Ohio to Maxine and William Hupp. Mom's family moved to Akron where she met the love of her life, our Dad, Doug Brown. Mom worked tirelessly along with our Dad at their restaurant. When they closed their restaurant, Mom went to work for Key Bank.

Mom loved the Spring with the wonders it brought and taught us to enjoy the simple things in life. She was a loving and kind woman who loved her family.

Mom was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 66 years, Doug Brown and sister Linda.

Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Jill (Pat) Bussey, Karen (Ed) Crabtree, Jeannie Merold and Debbie (Frank) Buzaki; grandsons, Franklin (Saher) Buzaki, Eric (Jessica) Crabtree, Douglas and Michael Crabtree, and Stephen Merold; granddaughters, Stephanie Neitzel and Moriah Yant; great-granddaughters, Raegan and Jacinda Buzaki; great-grandsons, Landon and Marshall Crabtree; brothers Bill and Jeff Hupp, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Per mom's request, a private family service will be held at a later date and she will be laid to rest with her husband at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in her honor to Haven of Rest Ministries or the Salvation Army.

We'll miss you mom, but we know you're with Dad watching beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We love you Mom and we'll see you again.
