Mary C. Rees, 82, of Akron, passed away August 30, 2009. Mary was born in Akron on July 11, 1927 to the late Charles and Agnes Habig. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her. Mary was preceded in death by her son, Charles "Chuck" Rees and sister, Kathryn Roosa. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, William B. Rees; son, William Benjamin (Linda) Rees; daughters, Diana Burns and Lisa Rees; brother, George (Gloria) Habig; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Hospice of Summa for all the care given to Mary. Private services and burial will take place.
