Mary Cramer

Mary S Cramer, 97, of Rootstown, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2014 in Fort Myers, Florida. Mary was born in Clover Run, Pennsylvania on January 14, 1917 to the late Myrl and Jane Shields. She attended Akron Free Will Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, baking, cooking and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband, Sherman; sons, Ronald and Ted; sisters, Sara, Bernice, infant Dorothy, and Betty; brothers, Harry and Tom. She is survived by children, Janet Vanaman, Donald (Debbie), Jerry (Chloe), Carol (Robert) Madden, Danny (Barbara), Rex (Lee), Clement (Cindy), Jim (Vicky), Mike (Michelle); daughter-in-law, Barbara Cramer and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and great great great grandchildren and many other loving family. Family and friends may call on, Monday, September 22, 2014 from 4 to 8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron, and on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 from 10 to 11am at Akron Free Will Baptist Church, 1802 Eastwood AVe. Akron with funeral services to follow at 11:00 am with Dr. Gary Bailey officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to any Hospice of your choice in honor of Mary Cramer.
