Mary E. Crookston, 72, of Akron, was promoted to glory to her God's good Heaven on October 18, 2005. Mary, a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother, will be missed by all. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Albert; children, Betsy (Roy), Sue (Larry), Judy (George), Jim (Cindy), Patrick (Stephanie), Lisa (Steve), Sally, and Bert; twenty-six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren, and many relatives and friends. Family and friends, please, please call on Thursday from 6-8:30 p.m. at Victory Chapel, 32 W. Bellisle Dr., Akron. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. with Pastors Robert Webb and James Anderson officiating. In lieu of flowers, please send any gift to Victory Chapel's Television Ministry.
