Mary Lou Crowe, age 91 of Akron, Ohio, passed peacefully in her sleep on January 9, 2019 at Pebble Creek Nursing Center.
She was born on February 24, 1927 in Akron, Ohio, the daughter of the late William and Olga (nee Jefferson) Hansen.
Mary Lou was a line dance teacher at different rec centers in the area. She enjoyed dancing and sewing.
Survivors include her two daughters-in-law, Peggy L. Crowe and Carol Crowe; her three grandchildren, Eric, Philip, and Cara Crowe; one step-granddaughter, Christie Golden; and four great-grandchildren.
Other than her parents, Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Crowe, and her three sons, Kenneth, Dennis, and Kevin Crowe.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Janaury 14, 2019 at 5:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, where family and friends may visit from 3:00 - 5:00 PM. Pastor Steven Lashbrook will celebrate Mary Lou's life.
