Mary D. Durgala Blomgren

Mary was born on January 19, 1950 in Akron Ohio where she lived her entire life. She passed away peacefully at home on August 12, 2021 surrounded by family and loved ones after a courageous battle with cancer.

Survived by brothers, Steve (Sharon) Durgala, John (Karen) Durgala, Danny Durgala, granddaughter, Heather (Brook) and her four great grandchildren Za'Niya,, Za'Riya, Zayvion, and Zaidyn who were the light of her life, step children, Valerie, Veronica, Vanessa, Valinda, TJ, and Jeremy along with many nieces and nephews and step grandchildren.

She is finally reunited with the love of her life, Terry Blomgren, her son, James Johnson, father, Steve, mother, Lavada, sister, Norma Lee, and brother, Terry.

She was as feisty as they come and had a heart of gold. To know her was to love her. She never let you leave without a few kisses and telling you multiple times how much she loved you. She will be missed greatly but we take comfort in knowing she is at peace with our Heavenly Father and all of those who loved her who went before.

The family would like to thank Kindred Hospice for making it possible for us to bring her home for her final days.
