Mary E. Carroll, 79, passed away on September 5, 2012. She was born in Coshocton, OH on April 14, 1933, to the late Ralph and Mattie Bennett. Mary was a member of Tallmadge Alliance Church. She was a very helpful and generous person, always willing to assist anyone in need. Mary was also a certified foster parent.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie. Survivors include her beloved and devoted husband, Dale, of 52 years; son, David; grandchildren, Josh, Joey, and Sydni; sister, Martha.

Calling hours will be Thursday, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, with a funeral service to follow at 12 p.m. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. To leave a special message for the family, visit www.NewcomerAkron.com.
