Mary E. Horton, 79, of Akron, passed away November 25, 2011. Mary was born in Akron on November 4, 1932 to the late Harold and Marjorie Grunder. She graduated from Springfield High School in 1950 and was a longtime member of Springfield Church of the Brethren. Mary was preceded in death by her brother, Ralph. Mary is survived by daughter, Sandra; sons, Charles, Robert, and Brian; grandchildren and many friends. A graveside service will be Thursday December 1 at 1:00 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery.
