Mary Ellen Eddleman, 79, passed away October 26, 2007 after an extended illness. She was born July 31, 1928 in Akron, Ohio to Clyde and Dorothy (Dorman) Romesburg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry, whom she married May 22, 1948; a son, Richard; and her parents. She is survived by her children, Jarold (JoAnn) Eddleman, Ken (Anne) Eddleman, and Judy (Brent) Smith; grandchildren, Michael (Amy) Eddleman, Kevin Eddleman, and Vicki (Cliff) Robertson; six great-grandchildren, Emily, Jacob, Kevin, Brandon, Nathan, and Carissa; sister, Joan Hankey; brother, Don Romesburg; and lots of nieces and nephews. She was a 1946 graduate of Greensburg High School. She enjoyed camping and spending time with her family. She was a member of Randolph Methodist Church and Home Mission in Alliance. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of Alliance, Ohio. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Herbert Smith and Pastor Bob Amey officiating. Interment at East Liberty Cemetery.
