Mary Margaret Faris, 87, of Akron, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2017.
She was born in Covington, KY on February 23, 1930 to the late Ambrose and Helen Becker. Mary spent her career in retail, working for Halle's and Higbee's Department Stores, and retiring from Dillard's after 27 years of service.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Faris Sr. and grandson, Gregory Faris. She will be deeply missed by her sons, Donald (Susan) Faris Jr., Randy (Linda) Faris, and Brian Faris; grandchildren, Lindsay (Tim) Vollrath, Brett Faris, Ben (Amy) Faris, and Liz (Vincent II) Suber; great-grandchildren, Grace and Greta Vollrath, Liam and Lyla Faris, Vincent III and Violet Suber.
Private family memorial service will be held. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
