Mary E. Fela
Mary E. Fela, 92, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on January 8, 2006. Mary was originally a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and later belonged to St. Matthew Catholic Church for 20 years. She spent many years making quilts for babies suffering from AIDS. Mary's family was very important to her, and she lived to a golden age enjoying the company of her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Fela and six brothers and sisters. She will be missed by her daughters, Pat McCallister, Elaine (Robert) McArthur, and Judy Spada; ten grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Family and friends may call TODAY from 5-7 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Matthew Catholic Church with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
