Mary B. Funk, 89, of Uniontown, passed away May 25, 2018. She retired from Woolworth's with 42 years of service.
Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband Ted G. Funk; 5 brothers and 1 sister.
She will be missed by her son, John (Eleanor) Funk; daughter, Joyce (Rodney) Leifheit; brother, Francis (Madene) Bolyard; sister-in-law, Lyda (Roger) Gardner; 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 1, 2018 from 3-5 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron, where funeral services will be held beginning at 5 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Sawyerwood United Methodist Church, 956 Mohawk Trail, Akron, OH 44312.
