Mary Frances Gray
"Fran"
Mary Frances Gray "Fran," 81, lost her battle with breast cancer on Jan. 17, 2005, while a patient at Visiting Nurse Service Hospice Center.
She had been a resident of Akron for 64 years. She was born on July 2, 1923, in Lily brook, W. Va. She was the sixth of 11 children of Frank and Lucy Gray. She came to Akron in 1941 and worked at Firestone and Goodyear before tak ing a position at First National Bank, where she retired in 1985 with 25 years service.
She is survived by four broth ers, a sister, and many nephews and nieces.
Service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Calvary Baptist Church, with Rev. Doug Shoup officiating. Friends may call one half-hour prior to the service.
Flowers may be sent to Newcomer Farley Funeral Home.
