Preceding her in their sunsets, parents Pauline {Jacobs} and Paul Seckel, husband of 53 years, Larry V. Spencer, sister Barbara Jeter, precious grandsons Christian and Sebastian Spencer, and beloved son Jim Spencer.
Survived by daughter Marla (Mike) Dakes, Karl (Denise) Spencer and Larry (Marie) Spencer; daughter-in-law Sherry Spencer; stepson Bud (Staci) James & family; grandchildren Briana (Ray Cardenas) Cox, Lauren (Kyle) Cramer, Athena Dakes, Dylan (Nicole) Dakes, Corynne Dakes, Stephanie Abbott, Ashley (John) Krowichak, Ricky Schaffer, Elliot Spencer, and Simon Spencer; great-grandchildren Kelyn, Scarlett, Aliyah, Jeffrey, Levi, and Anthony; brother Bob (Linda) Seckel and several special nieces and nephews; special friend Julia Laurenzi and many friends and extended family at Kiawins Towers, Portage Lakes.
Mary loved GOD, her family, and her grandchildren were her heart. She never knew a stranger and was the underdog. She loved music, babies, flowers, Harleys and a good laugh. She attended First Baptist Church of Barberton. Thank you for the many years of care to Dr. Kenneth Braman and staff, and Stefan Klautky.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 10 from 5:00 p.m. until the funeral service begins at 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, 44305.
