Mary June Fretz (Reece), 82 years, born June 18, 1931 in Akron, OH to Dewey A. and Nina M. Reece (Windsor).
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Frieda Starcher (Reece); husband, Dale A. Fretz; and daughter, Vicki L. Dague (Fretz). She is survived by her daughters, Pam (Gib) McMaster and Debbie (Denny) Vannatter; grandchildren, Gib McMaster, III, Patrick A. Cross (Jackie), Dale M. Cross, Dustin P. (Sena) Vannatter, Dina (Sean) Senters, Dana Vannatter. Nichole (Kevin) Cofer, Alayna (Jason) Ritchey, Corey S. Dague; great-grandchildren, Patrick Cross, II, Jacob Glass, Blake J. Cross, Gavin M. Cross, Alise, Keylie, Kaden, Adriana, Kelsie Vannatter, Haylie, Ashlie, Natalie Senters, Nina, Lexie Vannatter, Christian, Elija Ritchey, Brayden and Gerard Dague; her cousin, Isabel Pfahl (Frank); her former son-in-law, Larry Dague; her longtime best friend, Margie Metcalf.
June lived most of her life in Akron, fell in love with the guy across the street and eloped in 1948. She was a 58 year cancer survivor. She lost her right leg above the knee. She said she never felt handicapped until this year. She loved reading, TV, gardening, and crafts. She will be greatly missed by everyone. A wonderful mother and the best grandmother ever.
Per June's wishes, cremation will take place.
