Mary Lou Koeberle
Mary Lou Koeberle, born on October 7, 1928, went home to be with our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ on January 10, 2005. Born and raised in Akron, Mary Lou lived her life as a devoted wife and loving mother. She was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church. She belonged to St. Theresa Study Club and volunteered at the voting booth. "Do not neglect to share hospitality to stranger for by this, some have entertained angels without knowing it." Hebrews 13:2 Mary Lous door was always opened. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Thomas A. Koeberle; father, Adam Fier; mother, Ruth Holland-Fier; brothers, Ronald Fier and Billie Fier; sisters-in-law, Polly Koeberle and Martha Fier. She is survived by children, Carol Koeberle, John (Sue) Koeberle, Suzanne (Jeff) Henderson, Leo Koeberle and Rosemary (Jack) Brown; brothers-in-law, Robert (Marge) Koeberle, Gerald (Bertha) Koeberle of New Port Ritchie; sister-in-law, Doris Fier of Florida; grandchildren, Christian, Jordan (Erica), Rebecca (Jeff), Mara, Caitlin, Jacob, Joshua and Allysa; great-grandchildren, Nyah, Cierra and Leith; special, special friends, Sophie Elfritz, Martha Dixon, the girls from St. Theresa Study Club and her new extended family at Manor Care. A special thanks to her grandchildren, Allysa, Joshua and Jacob for their special care after surgery. Cremation has already taken place. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. Please help the family celebrate moms new life and remembering her past during the calling hours on Thursday, January 13 from 5 - 8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Funeral Mass will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Annunciation Church. Interment will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
