Mary Helen (Dengg) (Cavileer) Lancaster
Mary Helen (Dengg) (Cavileer) Lancaster, 79, passed away December 8, 2004. She was a 1943 graduate of Springfield High. After many years as a homemaker, Mary Helen attended business college and began a 27 1/2 year career with Sterling, Inc. as a secretary to owner Jerry Shaw and later Corporate Secretary of the company, retiring in 1987. Preceded in death by her devoted husband of 36 years, Merritt; father and mother, Fred and Alice Dengg, and brothers Frank and Gene Dengg. She is survived by six loving children and spouses -- Jacquelyn (Jim) Postma, John (Kathy) Cavileer, Anthony Cavileer, Janina (Jeff) Postma, Ryan Lancaster, Dane (Jasmine) Lancaster - plus 14 wonderful grandchildren, 8 darling great-grandchildren (with one more on the way), sister, Betty (Joseph) Volk, sisters-in-law, Gloria Dengg, Martha (James) Hale and Kathleen Van Meter, and wonderful friends in Ohio and Stuart, Florida. Family will receive friends at Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home on Sat., Dec. 18 from Noon till 1 p.m. The service will follow immediately with Reverend Marvin R. Brown of the First United Methodist Church (Cuyahoga Falls) officiating. Interment, Hillside Memorial Park Mausoleum.
