Mary E. Leach, 77, of Akron, passed away on May 28, 2005. Preceded in death by her husband Cyril F. Leach; grandson Michael G. Hardy; stepson Jack Leach; and brother Kenneth Ohmit. Survivors include her son Thomas E. (Victoria); daughters Linda (Bill) Arnold, Cathi Haddad, and Cheryl (Mike) Williams; sister Betty (Ronald) Brown; grandchildren Jennifer Parker, Paula Hardy, Lisa Ferrante, Jessica Haddad, and Kayla Williams; 6 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law Nora Leach; step-grandchildren Pam, Patricia, and Rick. Calling hours will be Wednesday, 5-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Funeral service will be Thursday, 11 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
