Mary Lou Reddick
AKRON - Mary Lou "Lou Lou" Reddick, 75, formerly of Dickson, Tennessee, passed away July 11, 2010 unexpectedly at General Hospital. Mary Lou was born on January 18, 1935 to mother, Hester Edmonson (Henry Holliworth). She moved north to Ohio and married Willie Charles Reddick, Sr. Mary Lou's life was centered on her family and friends. She had a great sense of humor and laughed easily. Quite simply, Mary Lou loved life and lived it with elegance and grace. And we, more than words can say, loved her, and the best part is – she knew it. Mary Lou was very proud of her family, truly enjoyed their company, and counseled and consoled them in so many ways. Allow us to introduce the family she loved so deeply: her children, William and Yolunda Reddick, Taren Reddick, Demetrius Blair, Paul, and Andrea Perkins; her companion, Tyrone McElroy; her grandchildren, Tammi Reddick, Anntella, Kenya and Linda Wells, Willie Charles Reddick III, Christopher Boles, Roland, Ashley, Marquez and Chelsea Reddick, Serena Smith, Lauren and Langston Perkins, and Deshaun and Treshaun Hopson; and 12 great-grandchildren. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Charles Reddick, Sr.; mother, Ester Edmonson; sisters, Claira Pearl and Jesse Long; grandson, Deon Wells; and mother-in-law, Anna Mae Reddick.
