MARY T. (MARION) RORAR
Mary T. (Marion) Rorar, of Akron, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2001. Marion was born in Hazelton, PA to the late James and Rose Haggerty. She worked for many years as an optician. Preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and grandson, Walter A. Rorar, Marion is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Walter L. Rorar; daughter and son-in-law, Aileen and Michael McDonald of Wadsworth; sons and daughters-in-law, James and Melissa Rorar of Akron and Michael and Jennifer Rorar of Akron; five granddaughters; many other special friends and relatives. Friends and family may call on Thursday, October 18th from 5-9 p.m. at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. A rosary service will be held at 8:45 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Martha Church, 300 E. Tallmadge Ave., with Father Mike Matusz officiating. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Martha Church.
