Mary Ann Perrine (nee Hoy), age 75, of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, died at her home on November 20, 2022.
She was born on August 18, 1947 in Norfolk, Virginia, to the late William Thomas and Martha Mae (nee Morgan) Hoy Sr.
Survivors include her loving husband, Richard O. Perrine, whom she married on August 10, 1981; her children, William Leon Dean and Tina Marie Ferguson; her grandchildren, Preston Scott Carter, Andrew Lashaway, Jessica Vick, Mary Loftin, Ashley Hall and Dana Mattix and 18 great-grandchildren.
Her siblings are also surviving, Mamie Elizabeth (William) Dennis, Rose Sharon (William) Carrol, Nancy Jean (Orville) Stevenson and William Thomas Hoy Jr. and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that mourn her loss.
Other than her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her daughter, Nicole Renee Tackett; her son-in-law, Keith Tackett; her siblings, Malcomb Jerry Hoy and Martha Virginia Hoy; her first husband, David Dean and her second husband, Kenneth Batchelder.
Mary was a loving wife and mother, who doted on her husband, children and grandchildren. She loved life to the fullest. Mary was an avid reader, loved visiting the casinos, as she was a gamer, flea markets, shopping with her sister, Elizabeth and eating out. In her younger years she was a great cook.
Mary was an honorably discharged US Army veteran, serving during peacetime, she loved her freedom and her country.
Per Mary's request, there will not be any calling hours or services and all arrangements were entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron.
Mary's cremated remains will be placed in a niche at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio.
