Mary E Riddle

Mary E. Riddle, 91, of Akron, passed away on February 20, 2022. She was born on November 17, 1930 the daughter of Charles and Vera Ledgerwood. Mary graduated from Tallmadge High School with the class of 1950. She was a woman of faith and was a charter member of First Baptist Church of Tallmadge. Mary took great pride at working the Polls for every election. Mary had many achievements but her greatest was her love for her family and church.

She was preceded by her parents; beloved husband of 68 years, Gene R. Riddle; beloved daughter Elizabeth.
Mary is survived by her loving family, sons Jeffrey (Laura) Riddle, Matthew (Julie) Riddle and Bryan Riddle; grandchildren Jesse (Rachael), Jason, Nicholas (Brittany), Corey, and Kaylee; great-grandchildren Logan, Laney, and Camden; beloved sister Louise; cousin Olin Ledgerwood; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron) where services will be held at 11:00AM with Pastor Rick Bowman officiating.
Interment will be held at Mt. Peace in Hartville.
