Mary Elizabeth Riley, 56, of Akron, passed away January 2, 2006. Mary was preceded in death by her father, Robert N. Porter. She is survived by her mother, Ada Porter; son, Robert L. Riley III and his wife, Melissa; grandsons, Robert L. Riley IV and Raymond L. Riley. Mary also leaves her loving sister and best friend, Wanda L. Wood and her husband, Rocky, of Alabama; beloved brothers, Samuel N. Porter and his wife, Gail, of N. Canton, and Robert H. Porter, of New Mexico; nephews, Samuel Porter II and his wife, Drazenka, of Columbus, OH, Jason Wood and his wife, Tami of Alabama, Gregory Porter and his wife, Mandy, of Akron; niece, Crissy Lindsey and her husband, Dr. Earvin, of Alabama; great-nephews, Greggy, Gabe, and Malachi Porter; great-nieces, Rachel, Ivanna, and Bethany Porter, and Zoe Wood; extended family, Mabel, Bobby, Diane, Sharon, Debbie, and all the Riley family, and Jen Tesmer and family, all of Akron. Mary was always known as "NaNa". She was deeply loved and adored by us all. She is the glue that keeps us together. She was always cheerful, smiling, and extending a hand to help anyone. May her soul rest in peace. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N.
