Mary Louise Rollins (Huber), born on April 27, 1943, passed away peacefully after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. She was a vibrant spirit whose laughter and love left a lasting imprint on all who knew her.
A multifaceted woman, Mary Lou excelled in various fields, demonstrating a remarkable talent in hair styling, real estate, and insurance. Her profound ability in sales was not just a job; it was a testament to her engaging personality and her innate connection with people.
Mary Lou was known for her fun-loving nature, always the life of the party, with a penchant for dance that brought joy to countless gatherings. Every event felt warmer with her presence, as she could light up a room with her humor. With an ornery disposition and a personality that had no filter, she delivered her views with honesty and hilarity, making every conversation a delightful experience.
Those who were fortunate enough to receive her signature greeting would never forget her trademark question, “Where’s my hug?” Lou’s warmth and affection reached far beyond words; she cultivated deep and meaningful relationships grounded in love. Her family was her heart, and she cherished them fiercely, instilling in them values of kindness, laughter, and perseverance.
As we celebrate Mary Louise Rollins, we remember her as a beloved wife, mother, grandma and GiGi. The world feels a little dimmer without her contagious laughter and unwavering zest for life. Mary’s legacy of love, dance, and unfiltered joy will forever resonate in our hearts, reminding us to embrace every moment fully.
A devoted wife of 36 years to David Rollins, beloved mother to Alicia Riley (Charles Britton), Shelley Riley (Michael Broske), precious bonus mom to Kelly Smith (Dan Smith), and the late Ryan Rollins. Mary Lou was a treasured grandmother to twenty grandchildren and great-grandmother to twenty great grandchildren. She was a favored "Aunt Lou” to numerous nieces and nephews.
