Mary T. Roppolo

Mary Roppolo, 95, passed away on March 16, 2024. She was born on September 10, 1928 in Akron, Ohio to Sarah and Charles McCase. She lived in Portage Lakes for 50 plus years. Mary was loved by many nieces and nephews. She loved camping, bowling and playing cards but her favorite past time was bingo.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Carl; grandson Joseph Pavlov; sisters, Josephine McCase, Louise Wetzel and most recently Charlotte Neptune; and her brother Joseph McCase.
Mary is survived by sons, Robert (Carol) Roppolo, and Joseph Roppolo; daughters Carla Roppolo and Debbie (Jim) Geesey; grandchildren, Carla Roppolo, Chad (Jennifer) Easterling, Nate Rader, Ryan Roppolo, Kara Roppolo, Cassie Geesey, and Ariel Geesey; 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held Sunday, March 24th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron 44305).
Inurnment will take place at a later date at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
