Mary Sabo
Mary Sabo, 80, of Akron, passed away November 22, 2008 at AlterCare of Cuyahoga Falls. She was born January 23, 1928 in Pinebluff, West Virginia to the late Paul & Dora (Babos) Sabo. Mary graduated from Farmington High School in West Virginia. She later was the owner/operator of Mary's Place on S. Main St. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Paul, Alex and George Sabo; sisters, Bertha Bokey, Helen Dudash, Dorothy Zukelich and Ethel Aldridge. She is survived by her sister, Julia Sabo; brother, Charles Sabo; and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5 - 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron where funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fleary Spurlock officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
