Mary Elizabeth Sobleskie

Mary Elizabeth Sobleskie (Corall) 66, passed away peacefully May 19th, 2020 surrounded by the love of her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Mary was born in Akron, Ohio on April 7th, 1954. She lived her entire life in the Akron area. She married her best friend and the love of her life, Bill Sobleskie on September 30th, 1977. They were blessed with two children and raised them together in a home filled with love, laughter and Christian values. Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Family was everything to her. She loved her children and grandchildren more than anything while supporting them in all their endeavors. She enjoyed attending any and all of their sporting events, dance recitals, choir concerts and plays.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents Larry and Vernie Corall. She was deeply loved and will be sadly missed by her beloved husband, Bill; her son Bill Sobleskie, Her daughter Heather Hicks, her favorite son-in-law Clay Hicks; her grandchildren Isabell Sobleskie, Alex Hicks, Juliana Hicks and Miranda Hicks. Mary will also be missed by her brothers and their spouses, Larry and Sue Corall, Tom and Mary Corall; and by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. There will be a small private service with a public service at a later date. The family would like to thank the Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service and Hospice Care Center for their compassionate support and the gentle, dignified care they provided to Mary in her final days. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to a Hospice Care Center of your choice.
