Mary Tench
October 10, 1944 - November 2, 2021
Like everything else in Mary's life, her obituary will not be traditional, instead, I would like to tell you a little about this amazing lady that was "family" to me!
Mary grew up with loving parents, and nine siblings. She often talked about all the fun times they had together. But her greatest joy were her daughters, Megan and Jillian. Mary had a career in real estate before retiring, and spending her days spreading happiness to others. This may sound trite, but if you had the honor of knowing Mary, you would absolutely agree. She was a bright light in an oftentimes dark world. She always looked for the good in other people, and always had something to be thankful for.
Mary said life was too short to be bitter, and she refused to allow the negativity of others, or situations to bring her down. No matter what was going on with her, she was always more concerned about everyone else. She never forgot to ask what you wore on a date, about the test you took, the party you had, or whatever was going on in your life...she cared!
Mary is now with her parents, daughters, siblings, her best friend Laurie, and the rest of her family in Heaven. Mary knew she was going to a better place when she left this earth, but was "not a quitter"...she fought the good fight until her race was won! There are many people that considered Mary family, and her joyful spirit, and light will be missed by many.
We would like to say thank you to Traditions Hospice for all of their compassion and support during this difficult time.
