Mary H. Tucker, 85, of Akron passed away August 30, 2008. Mary was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a very caring, loving and giving person and loved visiting her family in Boston. She also enjoyed Las Vegas and bingo. She is preceded in death by her husband William; parents Michael and Delia McDonough; daughter Theresa; brothers Michael and Thomas and grandson Brian Williams. She is survived by daughters Kathy Tucker, Mary Anne (Bill) Anderson and Patty Tucker; son Mike Tucker; sister Theresa Reilly; grandchildren Mary, Jeanne and Carolyn and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Friday September 5, 2008 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 73 North Avenue, Tallmadge. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 4 - 7 P.M. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery. In leiu of flowers donations can be made to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Northern Ohio Chapter, 902 Westpoint Parkway, Suite 300, Cleveland OH 44145 or to United Leukodystrophy Foundation, 2304 Highland Drive, Sycamore, IL 60178.
