Mary A. Weber

Mary A. Weber, 95, passed away peacefully at home January 24, 2025 with family by her side. Born in Akron, Ohio to Lawrence Kibler and Agnes Arndt, she was a lifelong area resident. Mary belonged to St. Patrick's Catholic Church for many years. Known as "Grandma Snack" to her grandchildren, Mary was an animal lover who enjoyed bowling, going to the beach, swimming, basking in the sun, going to the movies with her lifelong friend Carol, racing cars at Barberton Speedway, watching NASCAR and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Weber; son, Ron Carter; sister, Fran Ilcheson. She will be sadly missed by her children, Tom (Carol) Carter, Mark (Evelyn) Carter, Kim (Jeff) Messenger, Debbie (Ryan) Weber; grandchildren, Tony Carter, Stacy Thomas, Codie Pope, Ronda Carter; great grandchildren, Colton, Kyler, Cayde, Brandon, Lydia, Jovie, Cristy, Cassidy.

Family and friends are invited to visit Thursday, February 6, 2025 from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
