Mary Belle Yeager, age 75 died on July 30, 2023 at Maplewood Assisted Living in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
She was born on January 9, 1948 in Akron, the daughter of the late Paul and Kathleen "Ruby" (nee Tatum) Yeager.
Mary obtained a bachelors degree in health biologics. She was a health inspector for the City of Akron for 32 years, retiring in 2000.
She enjoyed dining out, flower gardening, was an avid reader and loved her animals.
Survivors include her brothers, William and Robert Yeager both of Mogadore; her longtime friends, Randy L. and Nancy Collier, and many other friends and co-workers.
Other than her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her son, Paul Potts.
Family and friends may visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44305 on Friday, August 4, 2023 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM.
The will be a funeral service to follow at 6:00 PM on Friday.
All arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron, Ohio.
