Mary Ella Zuniga

Mary Ella Zuniga, age 80 of Akron, Ohio, went home to be with our Lord God on October 31, 2021.

She was born on December 6, 1940 in Knoxville, Tennessee to Benjamin Franklin and Helen Roxcy (Bishop) Mantooth. She graduated from Green High School. Mary loved to garden, was an animal lover, and was an amazing cook. She also enjoyed traveling. Mary was a faithful servant of God and was a member of David's House Church in Cuyahoga Falls.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, children, Alan McConnell and Lisa May Meredith, twin sister, Martha Prahl, sisters, Shirley and Marsha, grandson, Blake Montague, and son-in-law, Scott Montague.

She will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 34 years, Edgar "Enrique" Zuniga, children, Annamarie (Daryl) Fanizzi, Renay Montague, Vincent Andrews, and Vickey Andrews, 14 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

Friends and family may come to call on Friday, November 5, 2021 from 11-1 at Newcomer Funeral Home in Akron. A funeral service will follow at 1. Burial at Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg.
