Maryann Runion

MaryAnn Runion, age 71, fell asleep in the Arms of the Lord on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at 2:32 PM with her husband by her side at the Villages Regional Hospital in Florida.

MaryAnn was the former owner and president of The Goodie Basket Shoppe in Tallmadge, Ohio. She loved her family and her pets; traveling and flying with her husband, Jim, on many vacations.

MaryAnn was a faithful volunteer at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, making peroghi and baking at the church workshops.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, Jim, of 38 years; her daughter, Karla, and her granddaughter, Nikkie; one sister, Dorothy (John) Marzano; brothers-in-law, John (Lynn) Runion, Bill Runion, Fred DeBellis; sister-in-law, Cynthia Runion; and many nieces and nephews.

The family of MaryAnn will receive family and friends at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 755 South Cleveland Avenue, Mogadore, Ohio 44260, from 4:30 - 6:30 PM, Thursday, December 15, 2016, where funeral services will follow at 6:30 PM. The V. Rev. Nicholas Wyslutsky will celebrate MaryAnn's life.

There will be a Panikhida service on Friday morning, December 16, 2016 at the church at 10:30 AM before processing to the St. Nicholas Orthodox Cemetery in Springfield where MaryAnn will be laid to rest. Family and friends may also visit from 9:30 AM until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the church in MaryAnn's memory.
