Maryann Seeley

On February 15th, 2023, our beloved Maryann Horner-Seeley went home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Maryann was born on March 8th, 1971 and was an East High School graduate, class of 1989. She worked at Tenneco for 28 years. She leaves behind her loving son, Justice, daughter Rachel, and their father, Chris Seeley; her loving parents, Perry and Ann Gour, brother, Danny, and sister, Julie; her special nieces and nephew, Ta Tenesha, Eliviya, and Charles; her great-nephew, Kashtyn; her boyfriend, Rocky Hatfield, whom she loved very much and his daughter, Tonya; and their four beautiful grandchildren, Kaidence, Jonathan, Brooklyn, and Raelynn, who were the joy of her life. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and co-workers who loved her dearly.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her. Maryann was a true gift to all. We were blessed to be apart of her life, and we will always remember her warmth, kindness, and laughter. Especially her laughter.

Family and friends are invited to visit Monday, February 27, 2023 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
