Mathew Robert Green

Mathew "Bob" Robert Green, age 77, of Beloit passed away on May 12, 2024. He was born in Barberton on July 31, 1946, to the late Mathew J. and Norma (Boylen) Green. He was a graduate of Manchester High School class of 1965. Bob joined the Air Force where he spent 3 years stationed in Japan. He then worked at Springfield School District and retired in 1998. He was passionate about his music. He played the keyboard and the organ. Mathew enjoyed playing for residences at the local nursing homes where they called him "Keyboard Bob." Bob was a loving husband and supported Belinda in her career with horses. He loved spending time with his son and grandchildren.

Bob is survived by his wife, high school sweetheart, best friend, and love of his life Belinda Green; son Mathew Mark (Susan) Green; daughter Wendy D. Green; granddaughter Brittnee Engel; great-grandson Arius; and grandson Ethan McCombs.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at Newcomer Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1-2 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
