Matthew Bruce Bachus
Matthew Bruce Bachus, 22, passed away suddenly on February 10, 2005, from injuries sustained in a serious car accident. Matt was born on October 31, 1982 in Akron, Ohio. He graduated from Springfield High School in 2001, and he was soon to be a certified optician at Summit Opthomology. He is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer and unborn child; his parents, David Bachus of Ellet and Tammy Bachus of Deerfield; his brother and best friend, Ryan Bachus (Heather Dodson); grandparents, Richard and Bonnie Reed of Cuyahoga Falls and Ruth Bachus of Ellet; uncle, Todd Cummings of Ravenna; and a very special great-aunt, Sherry Barton; mother and father-in-law, Don and Judy Ellesin; brother-in-law, Donny (Nicole); grandmother-in-law, Ruth Lawver; grandmother and grandfather-in-law, Michael and Barbara Donaldson; his best friend from childhood, Larry Burge; many close family members and friends. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service honoring Matts life will be held Tuesday, February 15 at 1:00 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. In lieu of flowers, a fund for Matts wife, Jennifer Bachus and their unborn child has been established at First Merit Bank, and donations may be made at any branch. Matt will be forever remembered by his beautiful smile, his sense of humor, his love for life, and beautiful new wife and baby. We love you. Rest in peace.
