Matthew S. Chester, 50, of Akron, OH passed away suddenly on February 9, 2021. He was born on December 25, 1970 in Akron.
Matthew graduated from Waterloo High School in 1990. He enjoyed life to the fullest, was a very agreeable person and would do anything to help anyone. He was an avid golf fan and enjoyed watching all of the golf tournaments on TV. Matthew and his brother Steve would golf together often, enjoying many rounds that produced many great memories. He was a pet lover and especially adored his dog Chance, and they would go for walks in the park as often as they could. He loved a good bonfire, a rock concert, playing pool and throwing darts. A Pepsi Cola would never be far from his side.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Bill and Jeannie; brother, Steve; daughter, Brittany; grandson, Keegan Scott and other extended family members and friends.
Due to the current Covid pandemic, a private funeral service will be held by the immediate family. He will be laid to rest at Hillside Cemetery in Randolph, OH.
