Maureen "Cookie" MacBride, 63, of Akron, passed away February 3, 2014. She was born in Akron, OH on December 17, 1950 to the late Eugene and Margaret MacBride. She graduated from St. Mary's High School and retired from Job and Family Services after 30 years of service.
Maureen is preceded in death by her parents, brother John P. MacBride; sisters, Kathleen Cater and Gloria MacBride.
She leaves behind brothers, Michael (Karen), Donald P. and Charles T. (Helen) MacBride, sister, Sharon MacBride, many nieces, nephews and cousins who are dear to her. No public services will be observed.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society. Final resting place will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron.
