Maxine R. Barbero
Maxine R. Barbero, 89, passed away on June 13, 2007. Born in Cleveland on June 27, 1917 to the late Max and Caroline Brugman. Maxine enjoyed going to yardsales, growing African Violets, and activities with the Springfield Senior Citizens Center. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Margaret McGowan and niece Marcia McGowan. Survivors include her husband Louis of over 50 years; step-daughter Sandra (Ernest) Johnson; granddaughters Michelle (Eric) Fagan and Jessica Johnson; great-granddaughters Sara and Emily Fagan; sister-in-law Frances Zito; and niece Sylvia Zito. Funeral service will be held Monday, 1 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Pastor Scott Campbell officiating. Entombment at Hillside Memorial Park. Family and friends may call one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society.
