Maxine L. (Sheets) Young
Maxine L. (Sheets) Young, 70, of Akron, passed away suddenly August 20, 2007. Maxine was employed as an editor for the Ernest Angley Ministries for many years. She was also a devoted member of their congregation and was involved in frequent missionary work and joyously served her Lord.
Born on February 7, 1937 to Paul S. and Huldah M. (Leaman) Sheets, she was a graduate of Smithville High School in Wayne County and graduated from Manchester College in Indiana.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Sherwood (Woody) E. Young; two sons, Scott (Nora) and Edward; brother, Donald J. (Beverly) Sheets; and granddaughters, Andrea, Kristen and Makena.
A memorial service will be held at the Newcomer Funeral Home at 131 N. Canton Road, Akron, OH on August 24, 2007. The family will receive guests from 12-1:00 p.m., with the memorial service following at 1:00 p.m.
