May Garver
May Garver, 85, of Akron, went home to be with the Lord on April 11, 2006. She was born May 16, 1920 in Ritchie County, West Virginia to the late Ira L. & Bessie (Reed) Rexroad. May was a member of Ernest Angley's Grace Cathedral and retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. after 35 years of service. She was a very loving mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, May was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Garver; brother, Ashford; and sisters, Ruby, Maude and Mabel. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert & Joan Rexroad; grandchildren, Robin L. Rexroad and Gina M. (Josh) Maxwell; sisters, Millie (William) and Georgia. Funeral services will be conducted 12 p.m. Thursday at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. with Rev. Robert Hoffman and Rev. Brock Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Southview Cemetery in Sullivan, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made in May's memory to Ernest Angley's Grace Cathedral, 2700 State Rd., Cuyahoga Falls OH 44223.
