Mayme Connellly, age 88, passed away Tuesday, February, 21. She was a former resident of Uniontown. Mayme was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians and the Ohio State University. She also enjoyed traveling and reading. Her other love was taking care of and working with plants. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Albert;parents Frank and Mary Simonetti and her brother Nick Simonetti. Mayme is survived by her sons Dennis (Cathy) of Cleveland, OH and Timothy (Lori) of Oracle, Az; sisters Shirley Sziva (Otto) and Josephine Simonetti;sisters-in-law Virginia Simonetti and Grace Connelly;grand children Sara, Megan and Scott;great grandchildren Jacob and McKenzy;many neices and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 24 at 7 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N Canton Rd, Akron, where family will receive friends from 5pm until service time. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Visiting Nurses Services and Hospice, 3358 Ridgewood Rd, Akron OH, 44333-6118. Online condolences can be made at www.newcomerfamily.com.
