Melissa L. Shepherd
Melissa L. Shepherd, 28, of Akron passed away unexpectedly at her home on March 8, 2008. She was a 1997 graduate of Akron Garfield High School. While in high school, Melissa was involved with the 4.0 Club and was a member of the National Honor Society. She attended vocational school while in high school and was highly trained in the field of Graphics, she was currently employed at Print Plus. Melissa is preceded in death by her grandparents, Irene and Avery King and Amelia and Rupert Beagle. She is survived by her husband of 9 years, Paul Shepherd Jr; parents, Donna and Robert Beagle; sister, Maria Beagle, and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Funeral services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N Canton Rd, Akron on Wednesday, March 12 at 5 p.m. with Rev. Richard Woodin officiating. Family will receive friends beginning at 3 p.m. until the service begins.
