Melissa Anne "Mandy" Packard, 48 of Springfield Township passed away Saturday, December 16, 2006. Mandy was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed doing cross stitch and loved to garden. She is preceded in death by her mother Doris Self; son Daniel Paul Packard; Father-in-law Robert N Packard. She is survived by her husband of 18 years Kevin Packard; father William B. Self; son James C Hendrix; daughters Brandy and April Packard sisters Nanci Self (Stephan Collins), Becky "Mama Bear" (Budd) Sinnett; brother Robert W. Self; grandchildren Timothy Juhasz, Xavier Hendrix, Sadie, Kirsten, Billie Jo, David and Jaden; nieces Errin and Audree and nephew Gary. Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N Canton Rd Akron with Rev. Dr. J.M. Groat officiating. Family and friends may call from 4 - 7 p.m. Tuesday.
