Melody A. Sengmany, 71, passed away unexpectedly at home December 8, 2022. Born in Akron, Ohio to Charles and Betty (Colledge) Pector, she was a lifelong area resident. Melody was happy to be retired and she enjoyed watching General Hospital, listening to music, playing video games, going shopping and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Pector; sister, Valerie Kervin. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Christine Pector; grandchildren, Daniel Pector II, Jordon Pector, Katlyn Callahan; siblings, Doris, Brenda, Tammy, Candy, Steven; many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to visit Friday, December 16, 2022 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
