Melvin Miller, 76, went home to be with the Lord on March 24, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Rose; children, Rick (Kathy), Terrie (Ray), Keith (Susie), Toni, Ed, Christine (John), Cindy (Peter), six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Melvin was a very active member of Grace Bible Church. Calling hours will be Saturday from 3-6 followed by a 6 p.m. funeral service, Pastor Jerry Harpool officiating, at Grace Bible Church, 5781 Manchester Rd., Akron. Private burial at Greensburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Care Center, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Akron, OH 44333 or Grace Bible Church, 5781 Manchester Rd., Akron, OH 44319.
