Mendi Marie McGuire, 39, of Akron, passed away on May 22, 2013. She was born on October 19, 1973. On April 26, 2001 she married David James McGuire who was the love of her life and soulmate. Mendi was a very loving, outgoing and positive person who always put the needs of others ahead of her own. Mendi is survived by her loving Husband, David, Daughter, Cortney M. Berkenstock, Son, Codi M. Berkenstock, Daughter, Brook L. McGuire, Sister, Grace Myers, Nephew, Dusty Richards and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held 5-8 PM on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305. A funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at the funeral home.
