Merald T. Jones, "Bud", age 79 of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, died at Select Specialty Hospital in Akron on November 18, 2019.
He was born in Atlanta, Georgia on July 28, 1940, the son of the late James Merald Vaughn Sexter Honely and Priscilla Juanita (nee Kilgore) Jones.
Bud was self-employed, and did many jobs. He enjoyed working on computers in every capacity, and loved photography.
Survivors include his nieces, Carolyn Riley, Cassandra Roscoe and his nephew, Landon Lane. and many great-nieces and great-nephews. He also has a best friend, Kenny Crosley, who survives.
Other than his parents, Bud was preceded in death by his brother, Franklin Claude Jones and a nephew, Franklin Brian Jones.
There will be a private family memorial service in the future and if you are interested in service times, please contact the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron.
