Michael Wayne Britton

Michael Wayne Britton, 58, of Akron, passed away on December 2, 2022. He was born in Akron on July 30, 1964 and graduated from Central Hower High School in 1982 before earning a degree in automotive repair from the University of Akron. Even in his free time, Mike enjoyed working on cars. He also loved to fish. He was a wonderful son, father, brother, and grandfather and will be truly missed by everyone who knew him.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, Chester Britton Sr. and brother, Chester Britton Jr.
He is survived by his children, Stephanie Diaz, Anthony Britton, and Steven (Meighan) Britton; mother, Carolyn Jones; sisters, Marie (John) Jones and Susan (Steven) Unrue-Lesher; granddaughter, Haley Rider; many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Family and friends are welcome to gather and celebrate Mike's life on Sunday, December 11, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
